Quick facts:

  • The vineyards are planted in a traditional pergola system–the vines are around 8 feet tall. Massimo uses the “Bellussera” training system where concrete poles are not dug into the ground but rather sit on top of the soil. The poles are held in place by a system of wires, and the whole construction is hoisted like a tent. This preserves the soil structure and gives the vines’ roots more room to grow.
  • The Massimo Coletti line is all estate fruit, while the “Arristo Bomba” line is produced from his own fruit along with fruit purchased from a friend.
