Jean-Marc and Anne de Crozals are singularly committed to the goal of producing perfect grapes. From pruning to traditional plowing, manual bud selection to leaf thinning, they believe in finding a natural balance so that each plot of vines thrives in harmony with nature. This attention to the unique qualities of each grape variety continues in the cellar, where they take great care to tailor the extraction, ageing, and type of fermentation vessel to the character of the fruit. The de Crozals’s 20 hectares of vineyards have been harvested for three generations and consist of Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache, Viognier, Chardonnay, and Muscat. While the wines of Domaine des Homs may be modest in price, they lack for nothing in personality and charm, and reflect the warm and generous nature of their makers.
