100% Nerello Mascalese from young vines planted in the Calderara Sottana vineyard, many of which are own-rooted. Vinified via the traditional “Pista & Mutta” method, where the grapes are pressed (“pista”) and the juice is immediately transferred (“mutta”) to a new vessel for fermentation, making a wine with low color and low tannin. Traditionally what the farmers made for themselves, to drink right away!
