Amélie and Cecile represent the 7th generation of their family to cultivate vines in their native village of Wettolsheim. Today, these intrepid sisters farm 14 hectares of vines using organic and biodynamic methods. Specialists in the production of sparkling wines, the estate produces a wide variety of well-aged offerings that are unique in the region in that they use top-quality grapes and noble varieties for their blends. Traditional Alsacien cellar practices are de rigueur here – large, old foudres for elevage and mostly cement for fermentations.
